Ibiza

Oooh we are going to Ibiza! At least a small intermediate step on Ibiza, because this trip is mainly about sailing along, become a temporary crew-member and making miles! From August 11th till September 10th we sail over the beautiful blue of the Med.

Temporary crewmember is a great way to get the hang of sailing, because where do you learn it better than in practice? Exactly!

Not so much experience? No problem, because our comfortable Catemaran 400 is even single-handed, what means the Captain can handle it on his own. Of course you want to help out, to learn the ins and outs of sailing. On these trips there is always a second sailor next to the captain with a lot of experience. So we will continue the day and night shift with a peace of mind.

In general, the Mediterranean Sea, lots of sun and a fine sea breeze through your hair! There are some longer stretches but the surprising intermediate and final destinations are more than worth these beautiful crossings. Once arrived, it is of course time for a dive or snorkel in the crystal clear bays. Along the way we visit plenty of nice places, from picturesque fishing villages with lovely restaurants to deserted bays to light the BBQ.

Sailing around Ibiza

Large anchor bays, rugged coastline and lively harbors. Sailing around Ibiza and Formentera brings a lot of variety between beautiful beaches, large anchor bays and cozy cities with many bars and restaurants. The sailing area is not complicated and varied and there is a wide choice between nature and culture.

Ibiza

Ibiza offers besides beautiful white beaches an exorbitant nightlife. The island is the westernmost island of the Balearic Islands. Along the coast we find many beautiful bays with white sandy beaches between high cliffs. These are sheltered anchorages to spend the night or just a beautiful lunch stop.

Formentera

The smallest inhabited island of the Balearic Islands. This small island with its numerous long beaches and deserted coves is two hours sailing from Ibiza. A true paradise with a rich vegatation of pine trees and palms. On the island there is a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

Ideal sailing wind

The Balearic Islands have a typical Mediterranean climate. The weather is similar to Greece and Turkey, just as warm and sunny and the sailing conditions are ideal. On the way there is often enough time to anchor and enjoy swimming and snorkeling in clear blue water.

This is a sailing vacation in which we spend as little time as possible in marinas. in the high season these are quite expensive and very crowded. We prefer to anchor in the numerous bays, free of charge AND much more fun! Of course we can take the dinghy to shore at any time.
