Capeverde

Find peace and serenity on one of the Windward Islands of Cape Verde in the Atlantic Ocean. Relax from 10 November to 6 December 2021.

Discover the unique blend of Portuguese and African influences and get a taste of Fogo’s colonial past. Relax on the white beaches and discover the volcanic landscape in the Boa Esperanza Natural Park on Boa Vista. On Sal you can find the surfing paradise and in the evening the place to be ; Santa Maria where the national drink ‘grogue’ is richly served!

Cape Verde is a group of tropical and volcanic islands in the Atlantic Ocean with great weather all year round. The old Portuguese colony is located about 460 kilometers off the coast of Senegal (West Africa). Only 6 hours by plane from the Netherlands.

Each island is unique and different. White sandy beaches, historic cities, unspoiled nature, whales and other marine life, pleasant weather, delicious food & drinks and a Portuguese atmosphere. An ideal vacation destination for everyone!

This is a sailing vacation in which we spend as little time as possible in marinas. In the high season these are quite expensive and very crowded. We prefer to anchor in the numerous bays, free of charge AND much more fun! Of course we can take the dinghy to shore at any time.
